Recent weeks have highlighted an increasing trend in exactly how CASARA/PEP Air Nanaimo can assist Ground SAR Agencies in their varied RCMP/EMBC taskings.
CASARA Nanaimo has twice been involved in providing search assets to assist Ground SAR Teams in their searches for Missing Persons. Where? In the local vicinity ? Certainly not. We are not limited by geography alone, nor limited to the Island. One assist was in Powell River, the second on the west coast in Port Renfrew. Each brings its own challenges. CASARA Nanaimo has certainly responded and well met those challenges. We will continue to do so, “so others may live”
