CASARA/PEP Air Nanaimo was tasked for a third time this month by the JRCC, on Saturday Oct 28th. This time to assist Ground SAR (Ladysmith) in their multi-day/multi agency search for a missing mushroom picker. In all 26 SAR teams ( all 14 on the island) and 105 trained searchers participated in the search. Sadly, seventy-two-year-old Faye Hanson was found deceased Saturday morning, 6 days after she went missing. Our condolences to family and friends.
