A rewarding week of hard work with our fellow CASARA RPAS (drone) teams from across Canada as we certified for SAR taskings with the RCAF. Complex challenges were presented including mountain terrain searches, night operations and shared airspace operations with 442 Squadron Cormorant helicopters.

CASARA Nanaimo has received funding, from the BC Gaming Commission, to purchase its own RPAS (drone) and is currently in the process of training & certifying its own RPAS Pilots.
